Porch Swing Orchestra

For this week’s piece, I routed the audio recorded on the porch through the Organelle, an all purpose electronic sound gadget made by Critter and Guitari and lent to me by fellow orchestra member, Mark Menjivar. I cycled through the approximately 200 delay patterns (I only used around 5) to create some cool textures to augment my improvised melody.

The summer heat and pollution have created some lovely magenta-tinted evenings. The glitch mirrors the delay patterns the Organelle imposes on the audio I fed it.
