Shield Ranch is a magical place, made even more miraculous by the supper eco Campsite comprised of an open-air pavilion and sleeping Structures fit for 70 designed by architects Andersson / Wise. Its all made possible by Shield-Ayres-Bowen families' generous commitment to conservation easements and creating educational opportunities for non-profits and other groups seeking an immersive experience in nature.

I was thrilled to be invited by Executive Director Andrea Mellard to attend a tour and stay afterward to record tunes and make pictures in this truly inspiring setting!!
